By downloading, accessing, or using the Fitmio mobile application, website, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue your use of our services.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Fitmio is designed to help you track your fitness and nutritional goals through gamification. However, we are not a medical organization, and our app cannot diagnose, treat, or cure any disease.
Important: Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new diet, exercise program, or making significant changes to your lifestyle, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
To use certain features of Fitmio, including multiplayer battles and cloud saving, you must create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must provide accurate physical data (age, height, weight) so our dynamic goal algorithms can function safely.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your country) to use this service.
4. Premium Subscriptions & Billing
Fitmio offers optional 'Premium' subscriptions that unlock advanced features like Apple Health/Google Fit syncing, custom recipe creation, and initiating friend battles.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions directly through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
- Refunds: All billing is handled by Apple and Google. Fitmio cannot process direct refunds; you must request them through the respective app store.
5. User Content & Conduct
Fitmio allows you to create custom foods, upload profile pictures, and set display names. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to display it within the app.
You agree not to post content that is offensive, harmful, discriminatory, or violates any third-party copyrights. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content without notice.
6. Fair Play & Anti-Cheating
Fitmio relies heavily on multiplayer competition. To maintain a fair and fun environment for all players:
- You agree not to exploit bugs, use third-party software to manipulate step counts, or forge health data to win friend battles.
- Accounts found routinely manipulating sync APIs to gain unearned XP or badges may have their leaderboards locked or accounts suspended.
7. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service. You may also terminate your account at any time via the App Settings.
